The invention of the smartphone and tablet changed web design to be able to offer multi-device solutions for how people interact with the internet and the digital world. One of the first freelance jobs I had was designing a touch based UI creation tool that allowed users to create basic user interfaces on an iPad. Since then, I’ve continued to pursue design opportunities pushing the limits of technology and user experience as our digital world continues to evolve.

Creating tools allowing others to make digital assets.
I started to take an interest in creative authoring tools after listening to how UI/UX designers explain their cognitive approach tp making tools like Photoshop or Figma. Because creator skills are so specific, I find it interesting to see how toolset remove the barrier to entry with similar tool functionality but also create new features and workflows to be more efficient in certain task types.

Newegg is a company with over 20 years of history growing from the dot com era of the early 2000s. As a result in 2021 the site went through a redesign overhaul to bring it into a more modern aesthetic.
