Creating a Unique Brand Visual Style for newegg.com
When I started at Newegg in 2021, there was a ban on lifestyle photography resulting in most digital banners and social content to be focused on product photography. Seeking an authentic and relatable tone of voice for the brand, I pushed for the usage of lifestyle photography in digital marketing. This simultaneously elevated the language of the brand as well as offered another channel to promote influencer talent from Newegg Media’s shows.

Print projects encompass all the mailer flyers, shipping inserts, brochures, signage, billboards etc. that have been created for a brand to have a physical presence.

Working from within Newegg’s old system of identity relied heavily on the Newegg logo for all marketing collateral and graphics. Sub-brands and brand touch points allowed for explorations into modern graphic design.

Most on-site banners feature up-close product photography and integration of lifestyle imagery or abstract tech backgrounds. Corporate creative updates weekly to keep the promotional messaging fresh and changing.
