Newegg started to face an overflow of inventory as GPU demand began to wane on the cooling down of crypto mining and PC purchasing during the beginning of the pandemic. The thought was to drive traffic specifically targeted to moving GPUs by providing comparison tools and performance recommendations. JustGPU became the destination that let users benchmark cards to fit their needs.
Beginning interations for logo concepts based on tech, futuristic and GPU cooling fans.
Looking to simplify some concepts further, eventually began playing with letter forms and connecting parts or making them look like cooling heat sinks.
The end result has a very heavy balance between positive and negative shapes but still relates to the product being sold.
