Hulu & Macy’s Collaboration

Hulu wanted a new ad format that would appeal to different types of clients that weren’t focused on entertainment and time-spent as a KPI metric. Since Macy’s is a fashion retail brand it made sense to have large clothing imagery be the focus of the advertising especially on a large TV screen. The ad units were also designed to allow users to decided different videos they might find relevant, skip normal ad breaks with an upfront long form video or send sale information to their phone.
